Being a DBMFI scholar has helped me in many ways. First, I do not have to worry about my tuition anymore because the scholarship supports my studies financially. Because of this, I can take my exams without stress or fear about unpaid fees. The scholarship also helps me focus more on my studies since I can give more attention to learning instead of financial problems. Most importantly, it lessens the burden on my family because they no longer have to worry about my tuition expenses. I am truly thankful to DBMFI for giving me this opportunity to continue my education with peace of mind and confidence. “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19

Being part of the DBMFI scholar is a big blessing for me and my family. The scholarship helped me a lot financially because it covers my full tuition fee. Because of this, my parents no longer have to worry too much about paying for my tuition, especially since I still have siblings who are also studying. It somehow lessened the financial burden of my family and helped my parents focus more on our other daily needs and expenses. Through this scholarship, I am able to continue my studies with less stress and pressure. It motivates me to study harder and do my best because I know that this opportunity is a big help for my future. Being a DBMFI scholar also taught me to be more responsible, thankful, and determined in life. I am truly grateful to DBMFI for giving students like me the chance to pursue education despite financial challenges. Their support does not only help me financially, but it also gives me hope and inspiration to achieve my dreams and someday help my family in return.

I was invited by my friends to take the entrance exam, and it was truly a blessing. Being a DBMFI scholar has been a great help to me, especially since I am studying independently in a city far from home. The foundation has helped ease my parents’ worries by lessening the cost of my living expenses, particularly by covering my boarding house. Being part of this foundation is truly a blessing because it not only helps you financially, but also treats you like family.

DBMFI was truly an answered prayer for me. I still remember the time I took the examination in DBMFI, hoping for a chance to continue my studies despite our financial struggles. Before that, I already experienced failing a scholarship exam, which made me feel hopeless and question if I could still pursue college because our family is underprivileged. However, being given this opportunity by DBMFI became a light that brought back my hope and motivation to keep fighting for my dreams. DBMFI not only helped me financially, but it also gave me confidence to believe in myself again. Because of this blessing, I realized that failures are not the end, and with hardwork and faith, dreams can still come true despite life’s challenges.

Being part of the Dominador Bance Memorial Foundation Inc. family is truly one of the greatest blessings I have received from God. I am a daughter of a fisherman and a housewife, and we came from a simple family nga dili kwartahan. Growing up, I witnessed how hard my parents worked just to provide for our daily needs. Because of that, I promised myself that I would study hard and pursue my dreams not only for myself, but most especially for my family. Back when I was in Senior High School, I prayed for a scholarship that could help me continue my studies in college because I knew our family could not fully support all my educational expenses due to financial instability. I always prayed, "unta maka skwela ko ug college nga dili kaayo magproblema akong parents sa akong bayrunon sa skwelahan". Through God's grace and mercy, He heard my prayers and led me to this foundation. Being chosen as one of the scholars of Batch 10 became my answered prayer. This foundation did not only help me financially, but it also gave me hope, motivation, and the courage to keep chasing my dreams despite life's challenges. Knowing that there are people who believe in students like me inspires me to work even harder and never give up. To the DBMFI family, thank you for becoming a part of my journey. Thank you for easing the burden of my parents and for giving students like me the opportunity to continue our education. I will forever be grateful for your generosity, kindness, and trust. I pray that someday, I will also become successful enough to give back and inspire others just as this foundation inspired me.

Being part of the DBMFI family has been a profound blessing in my life. When financial constraints threatened to hold back my academic dreams, DBMFI stepped in and generously provided my tuition fees, clearing the path for me to focus entirely on my studies. But their impact went far beyond financial relief. Through their unwavering support, guidance, and community, they challenged me to grow, pushing me to discover my true potential. DBMFI didn't just fund my education; they genuinely shaped me into the best version of myself, both as a dedicated professional and as an individual. Testimonial Full message: by: Engr. Nilven P. Misterio -2nd batch scholar(alumna) I begin my story with gratitude, echoing the words of God in Psalms 9:1-2 I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of Your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your Name, O Most High. I am Nilven Pableo Misterio, I was born to a poor family on November 4, 1985, at Kagawasan, Dimataling Zamboanga de Sur. My father, Mamerto Lindayao Misterio, a farmer, came from Guihulngan Negros Oriental, and my mother, Helen Baran Pableo, a housewife, hailed from Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur. I am the third child of a family of eight, instilled in me the values of perseverance and hardwork. At a very young age, I was already assisting my father's work in rice fields. At the age of 11, life presented challenges when my father underwent an appendicitis operation and forced me to stop my elementary studies. Despite facing financial hardships, I helped my mother's work in rice fields also selling bebinka and cassava puto (balanghoy puto) for our daily consumption. Sometimes, I experienced one day one eat during that time due to our situation. However, our poverty didn’t hinder my eagerness to pursue, and went back to school to continue my elementary level. I worked hard in farming and selling bebinka to be able to send myself to school. When I graduated my elementary level my parent could not support me in high school. Embarking on a journey of resilience, I ventured into the workforce at the age of 13, laboring at a bakeshop at Agora Public Market, Pagadian City. My dedication caught the attention of my Boss, opening the door to an opportunity to continue my studies as a working student. With the burning desire for a better future and a strong determination to improve my family’s living conditions, I worked and studied hard. After four years, as a working student, Enduring the challenges of a double life, I emerged victorious, I never thought that I would graduate high school as a valedictorian at Pagadian City National High School, Danlugan Pagadian City. This achievement paved the way for me to pursue higher education. My work and excellent academic experience led me to continue my studies at the tertiary level with the help of our Almighty Father. With my academic performance, I decided to enroll in my first year of college at Southern Mindanao Colleges, taking a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I was an academic scholar at that time, but because of my life as a working student, I failed my academic performance and thought to stop my first-year college studies. As fate would have it, my school mate and became my bestfriend encouraged me to apply for the Bance Foundation scholarship program. To my joy, I succeeded, turning a pivotal page in my life's story. Glory to our Almighty Father I passed the scholarship program. The DBMFI Scholarship Program played a pivotal role in constructing the foundation of my life, transforming me from the poorest boy in Dimataling into a successful engineer. Graduated with a high flying honor being a cumlaude of batch 2024-2009. My journey has solidified my belief that "Poverty is not the hindrance to success." The DBMFI Family not only supported me through my five years in engineering college but extended their generosity beyond, providing full financial support for accommodation, food, and review expenses during my crucial six-month review at Manila. This act of kindness and belief in my potential not only underscored their commitment but also became instrumental in my academic success. I extend my deepest gratitude above all to God and every individual within the DBMFI Family who contributed to my success. Without their unwavering support, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Their belief in my capabilities empowered me to overcome challenges, and with persistent & hard work. The DBMFI Family has not only been a crucial stepping stone in my academic journey but has also become a cherished part of my life. In every success, I acknowledge that God is indeed good all the time, and finding this supportive family has been a true blessing. Reflecting on my 16-year journey as a Civil Engineer, I stand today as an Area Manager for the entire Mindanao Area at Altrad RMD Kwikform Philippines Incorporated, an esteemed international company. This role has allowed me to contribute to significant projects, showcasing the culmination of years of dedication and expertise. Beyond professional achievements, my life has been enriched in the most profound way through the bonds of family. I am happily married to Nelyn Suarez Honi, a licensed social worker and a registered guidance counselor, who brings warmth and love into our home. Together, we are raising three wonderful children, 2 boys (ages 15, & 13 years old ) and 1 girl (ages 3 years old), we are living in the vibrant city of Davao. As I navigate through the intricate balance of career and family life, I am reminded of the word of God found in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – "In everything give thanks to the Lord, in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." This verse encapsulates the gratitude that resonates within me for every twist and turn, every challenge, and every triumph. I am immensely thankful for the support of my family, the opportunities presented by my career, and the guiding hand of the Lord that has shaped my journey. In this chapter of my life, I continue to strive for excellence in my professional endeavors, cherish the moments with my loved ones, and remain rooted in faith. Each day is a testament to the goodness of the Lord and the boundless possibilities that unfold when one's heart is filled with gratitude.

Good day everyone, I am Reycille Marie A. Marumas, a proud graduate of Nursing Batch 2009 and one of the blessed recipients from the second batch of scholars of Dominator Bance Memorial Foundation Inc.. Looking back on my journey, my heart overflows with gratitude and humility as I remember how DBMFI became one of the guiding lights that illuminated my path toward my dreams. Life was never easy, and like many students, I once carried uncertainties and struggles silently in my heart. Yet through the generosity, compassion, and unwavering support of this foundation, hope blossomed where fear once lived. Being part of DBMFI was more than just receiving financial assistance—it was becoming part of a family that believes in the power of education, perseverance, and service. The foundation did not only help me finish my studies; it nurtured my confidence, strengthened my purpose, and inspired me to become a better person and a compassionate nurse dedicated to serving others. Every achievement I have today carries the fingerprints of the people behind DBMFI—the kind-hearted souls whose vision transformed lives and opened doors of opportunity for scholars like me. Because of them, I learned that dreams are valid, no matter how distant they may seem, as long as there are people willing to believe in you. As a nurse and as a former scholar, I carry with me the values that DBMFI instilled in my life: resilience, humility, compassion, and gratitude. These values continue to guide me in serving the community and touching lives with care and empathy. To the officers, sponsors, benefactors, and everyone behind Dominator Bance Memorial Foundation Inc., thank you for being instruments of hope and for transforming ordinary dreams into extraordinary realities. Your kindness has created ripples of inspiration that continue to change lives beyond measure. I will forever be proud and honored to say that I am a DBMFI scholar. The foundation became a significant chapter of my life story,a story written with faith, perseverance, and the generosity of people with compassionate hearts. May DBMFI continue to flourish and inspire more young individuals to rise above challenges, pursue their dreams, and become instruments of service and hope to others. Thank you very much, and may God bless us all abundantly.

As a poor individual, my parents did not have the financial capacity to send me to college. I thought I would not be able to continue my studies, so I planned to apply as a janitor or work in the school library just to support myself and make it through college, hoping that someday our life would change for the better. I eagerly applied for scholarships, and by God’s guidance, I discovered the scholarship opportunity from Dominador Bance Memorial Foundation Inc. without even knowing it was for the DBMFI entrance exam. By God’s grace, I passed the exam and was granted a full scholarship. Today, I am where I am because DBMFI gave me the opportunity to pursue my education and continue chasing my dreams. I am truly grateful and thankful to all the sponsors and people behind Dominador Bance Memorial Foundation Inc. for changing my life and giving me hope for a better future.
